TYPOGRAPHY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Student Network for Amphibian Pathogen Surveillance (SNAPS) is a partnership between U.S. Geological Survey, Amphibian Research and Monitoring Initiative, amphibiandisease.org and the Bsal Surveillance Working Group, part of the Bsal Task Force (salamanderfungus.org)
SNAPS needed full logo development and brand guideline creation, as well as various branded materials.
Role: Individual Project
Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Figma
Assets: Logo w/ variations, website, brand guide, sample sheet for field research, powerpoint template / presentation materials
Sponsor: Student Network for Amphibian Pathogen Surveillance (SNAPS).
Process: I was given pretty free range when developing the logo, with the only parameter being to steer away from turning the S, or one of the letters in SNAPS, into a lizard or salamander. Then branding materials were created using the colors and logo design that I made.
Feedback: SNAPS liked the logo with rounded edges and wanted to see renditions with one color added for the next version.
FINIALIZED LOGO DESIGN:
SNAPS Website
The sponsor provided the copy and gave specific instructions on what they wanted to appear on the 2 pages of their website (Home, About).
